More Hats!

Here are 2 more hats. These are too much fun to make! The blue one has a contrast band of vairegated Unikat yarn, which felted beautifully, and the green one is for my friend Susan Schrott who looks fabulous in green! Check out her website at www.susanschrott.com for some delightful quilts.
Unfortunately I was felting late at night, so the hats came out a little wrinkled, but I think they will soften with wearing. Guess that means I'll have to make some more!

Jeri, these hats are so abolutely adorable I think I need to have one myself! OH? You mean you're already working on one for me? HA!

I hope all you other people are good and jealous because my friend John wants one, my daughter Rebecca wants one, and I am afraid to go out in public when it is done, because I know I will stop traffic. And be swarmed.

I know this because Jeri makes me wonderful things to wear; too gorgeous for words. And whenever I wear them - often as possible= they are total showstoppers and conversation starters. And no, I will not even let them do more than touch my exquisite cut silk hand-dyed scarf she made. Oooo-la-la. It is much envied. And treasured.

What is this talk of getting wrinkled from felting at night? Is that what has happened to me? But I don't even know how to felt...

Those are wonderful! I'm so glad to see those pictures--maybe they'll help me get up the courage to try making one sometime.
